In this course, participants will develop mediation skills as they engage with a range of dispute scenarios. They will gain knowledge in areas such as the nature of conflict, communication patterns in conflict and negotiation, preparing for mediation, negotiation dynamics in mediation, principles and stages of the mediation process, cultural fluency in mediation, mediator ethics and the law of mediation. Dates for Part A are set out in the Course Schedule below.
