SMU Yong Pung How School of Law Auditing Programme

AY2026-27 Term 1


 

The SMU Yong Pung How School of Law warmly invites members of the legal fraternity in Singapore, as well as other interested professionals, to apply to audit selected LL.B. courses offered in Academic Year 2026-27, Term 1.

Participants are welcome to attend and observe our interactive seminars alongside SMU students. The term will commence in the week of 17 August 2026 and classes are expected to be completed by November. Classes will be conducted face-to-face on campus by default except for those designed to be conducted in a blended learning approach.

The number of places available for each course is limited. Registration is subject to availability and the relevant instructor’s consent, which is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Participants do not undertake the formal assessment modes for the course. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who meet the minimum attendance of the relevant classes - 75% for LL.B.

Public CPD Points

 

Maximum 18 points for Unit 0.50 LLB modules
Maximum 30 points for Unit 0.75 LLB modules
Maximum 36 points for Unit 1.00 LLB modules
Maximum 48 points for Unit 1.25 LLB modules
Maximum 54 points for Unit 1.50 LLB modules

Please note that Public CPD Points obtained are based on the number and duration of classes in each course and the actual number of classes attended.

This programme is an Accredited CPD Activity under the SILE’s CPD Scheme. Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points are reminded that they must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For this activity, this includes having their attendance recorded in the manner required by the organiser, and not being absent from each day of a module for more than 15 minutes. Participants who do not comply with the Attendance Policy for any particular day of a module will not be able to obtain CPD Points for that day of the module.
